Who said puff pastry was a dessert thing? Forget your typical pizza crust and opt for this instead for a light, flaky, indulgent crust! A couple weeks ago, I stopped in for lunch at Peppino’s in East Lansing with my boyfriend. I swear, BEST. PIZZA. EVER. You might have seen on my Instagram that delicious BBQ chicken pizza. So glad I don’t live there anymore – I’d blow up like a balloon. Anyway, pizza has been on my mind since. And the question is: red sauce or green? I opted for both 🙂
It isn’t out of line to say that we all lust for a little arm candy, right? The jewels, the bangles, the wraps and the watches – no outfit is complete without it. You’ll rarely find me without something around my wrist, usually it’s Michael Kors or Kate Spade; but just recently I found a new stackable piece. Can you say L-O-V-E to this little gem?
During any family event, my dad is dubbed the king of the kitchen. Most famous for his fall-off-the-bone ribs and BBQ glazed chicken, it’s nostalgic just thinking about it! Okay, and it’s homemade BBQ sauce, too, which makes it even better. I sat in my living room on day debating on whether or not it would be a good idea to go out for dinner since the fridge and cupboards were far from replenished.
Yesterday, my boyfriend and I celebrated our three year anniversary! It’s crazy to think about how quick time flies. And to think that my boyfriend has been able to put up with my most diva’est moments ever… as did I with him, hehe. Definitely a keeper! The weather was simply perfect this weekend. I had a lot of pool time, sun time and time outdoors… as you can tell. I’m sporting this fabulous bronze summertime glow… hehe. If only it came natural. At least I got it in time for our anniversary date night. With a little help from my Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit, my face was looking flawless! Date night is always a great night. It’s a reason to get all dolled up and take it to the town. We ended the night with a romantic dinner at The Melting Pot, I mean, what’s better than a little dinner, wine and lots of chocolate fondue?
Last week, you might recall me having roasted veggie lasagna roll ups for dinner. What I didn’t mention was that I had crispy cauliflower bites to go with it! Inspired by Damn Delicious’ parmesan cauliflower bites, these were definitely a hit. I swear, it’ll change anyone’s mind who currently says they don’t like cauliflower.
What better way to start the morning than with a cup of coffee, flowers and a scenic view? This past weekend, my boyfriend and I took a long weekend trip up to the cabin. So tranquil and blissful – it’s exactly what the both of us needed after a hectic week.
As I was writing this blog post, a Meijer commercial came on and all it said repeatedly was “MEAT. MEAT. MEAT. MEAT. MEAT” – anyone know which commercial I’m talking about?! Ironically, this post is about the exactly opposite, haha. I’ve been cutting the meat out of my diet lately but adding more… cheese? What? That’s not like me, but this was SO WORTH IT.
So, you’ve made your list and jotted down all of your brilliant ideas that you want to blog about. Now what – how do you translate it to your blog without getting disorganize in your lists? This isn’t a trick question. I’ve had a few questions on how I stay organized while executing my ideas. Some comments in particular:
