Food For Thought: The Limitless Boundaries In Life

I see life as an infinite hike through the woods. Technically, there is no declared beginning or end to it, and you really discover yourself along the way. What techniques and strengths do you possess that will help you survive, and what can you learn and adapt to in order to make the journey worthwhile, or, well, a tad bit easier? These questions may take days, weeks or even years to answer; heck, maybe it’s a trick question and won’t get answered at all. It’s certainly different for every individual. The boundaries in life are limitless, just like the opportunities.

In Five Years

Today is a very special day for me. It signifies the day I was born and yet another year that I can say, “I made it.” Studies show that age 23 is one of the best years of your life and that you don’t reach that type of satisfaction again until age 69. It’s been on hell of a year — from the ups and downs I’ve had many fruitful moments to be thankful for. Birthdays make me reflect on the year that has been and the years to come. Aside from a celebratory mindset, it makes me think… am I where I want to be in life? In any type of interview, a question that is often asked is, “Where do you see yourself in five years?” At 19 years old, I said that in five years I’d be living out in LA or NYC, working for a fashion or beauty corporation, and with the man of my dreams. The Fruitful Moments of 23

Twenty-three: A number, an age, a point in time. It is said to be one of the most satisfying years of our lives, and that we won’t reach that peak again until age 69. That’s 46 years away… seems like a lifetime but I’m sure it’ll be here before I know it. I start every morning with a cup of Yogi Berry Detox tea.
