As I was writing this blog post, a Meijer commercial came on and all it said repeatedly was “MEAT. MEAT. MEAT. MEAT. MEAT” – anyone know which commercial I’m talking about?! Ironically, this post is about the exactly opposite, haha. I’ve been cutting the meat out of my diet lately but adding more… cheese? What? That’s not like me, but this was SO WORTH IT.
Going meatless today? So I am! I’m a big fan of tofu and love to use it in place of beef, chicken – you name it – every once in a while.
I’d like a burger please, but hold the meat! Wait, what? Yeah, you heard that right. Every so often — okay, maybe more than just often — I crave a really good veggie burger! Tonight, I decided to take a chance on making homemade black bean burgers and kudos to me for trying because they were so ohhhh my gawddd delicious! By the looks of it, it can totally pass off as a meaty burger to me.
